My Titus 2 Ladies

Meet my sweet friend Christy Grisham! She is such a special person and every September she has a September Lunch for all her friends that have birthdays in September which includes ME!(She said that she felt like she should throw up her Tri-Delta sign! This made me laugh so hard, and still makes me smile thinking of her saying that! )
Her pretty table setting with her China! She always makes me feel so special and loved! I should have taken a pic of the delishous food that was all homemade! I guess I was too busy eating!

This is all of us that had birthday in September! Except two but they are still pretty special! All of these ladies are homeschool moms or have been homeschool moms when there kids were younger. So I love getting to sit and listen to them talk about the importance of teaching my kids while they are young! Christys kids are 10,13,and 14 and I think Lisa's oldest is 18 the other ladies have high school and jr high... I feel so special (even though they do laugh at how young I am, Im pretty sure EVERYTIME we are together). Its important to me to have ladies that I can look up to. I think WISDOM is mentioned alot in Proverbs! Sorry im not sure how many but you could probably google it.
Proverbs 13:20 says that whoever walks with the wise becomes wise but a companion of fools suffers harm. Proverbs 19:20 Says Listen to advice and accept instruction, that you may gain wisdom in the future. CS LEWIS says,"The next best thing to being wise oneself is to live in a circle of those who are." SO, I can completley take the young girl jokes b/c I LONG to gain WISDOM!

Another lovely pic!

Had to add this one of Kathy (in the black) and Lisa! They both divided up my kids the last time we traveled for church planting! It was such a blessing to be able to travel with George and it wouldn't have happened without these two! Praying they realized how much that ment to me! Christy and Paul ,her husband, have also helped me numerous times and Im pretty sure Abigail stayed up until 11:30 the last time! It'll be awhile before I ask again! I pray they all recover! Oh and all there girls which is 6 between the 3 of them are all in jr high or mid high and minister to me beyond words! I wish i had a picture of them! Maybe next time!
Titus 2 :4-5 says  so they may encourage the younger women to love their husbands and love their children, to be self-controlled, pure, homemakers, kind, and submissive to their husbands so that God's message will not be slandered.

Field Trip Number 2

BLESSED
To start out here is a random pic of my kiddos on a Sunday morning! It was so cute I just had to throw it in there! Yes, I LOVE for them to match! It's a downfall in my life! My blog skills are not very impressive, this I know, but you can get the picture:) One day in my spare time I'll take a class on how to do fancy stuff! Probably not, but it's a great thought:)Field Trip number 2 was a pizza and a play day! Jay Adkins delivered an awesome devotion to us on friendship! I pray that my children will come away from this year with a hunger and love for the Lord that only HE HIMSELF can produce.
The group keeps growing! Im so thankful we have such a good group of friends that are being homeschooled this year.   That would be my son with the star wars pose going on!

Two of my favorite monkeys
There has got to be a way to make these pictures fit side by side but until I figure that out, we will just keep adding them straight down:)
One thing I love about our field trips is my time I get to visit with my friends. I am such a people person and desire to have deep friendships, but during this season that is a struggle. I am so thankful the Lord surrounds me with ladies that love Him and His word. Also that can pick up conversations that we started last month! We took a group picture last month but since I looked like a wet rat with my hair wet I opted out of putting it on the blog! I know such a disappointment!(j/k)
PIZZA PLEASE.....

Super Cute Girls:)

WHERE IS HIS MOM? HE'S A MESS!
My sweet friend in her cute little hat....so blessed by her friendship.
Love me some Jake!
We could so start our own football team!

This was not in my lesson plans:)

So like I said in an earlier post we do school at home on Mondays and Fridays. Abigail just turned 4 so she is kind of interested in school but not really! Jeremiah on the other hand is into EVERYTHING!!! How do people do it? Today was hillarious because him being on the table while we were trying to do our work was only the begining! This was him sitting still for about 1 second, after that it was on to more trouble!

How do you get mad at that cute face? Really he's such a mess but such a cute mess! Before I could get anything done he was in the bath turning the water on with his clothes on.., well that wasn't in my lesson plans today but Im pretty sure Im suppose to be FLEXIBLE! Im not the most flexible person, you can ask any of my friends and I usually have a plan for anything I do! I'M A PLANNER! I have learned to let the Lord be my PLANNER..Let Him guide my steps...in all things be thankful..and just like my blog title says..DO ALL THINGS WITH JOY:)

All things with JOY...All things with JOY....All things with JOY!!!!

1st Field Trip

Our first attempt to take a group photo was great until we realized Cooper was in the restroom!
I love that Abigail just poses naturally!!! No one has to tell her its the cool thing to put your hand on your hip!

Sweet Hannah-Ruth and Emery:)

The boys had so much fun being together, Im praying my son would have Godly friends and that he would be a Godly friend.

THE GROUP WITH COOPER!!!
There were 12 children in all but we were missing about 8 that day! Glad we could get together and praying that not only my year but my friends year would go well as we invest in our childrens lives together.

My sleepy baby...This field trip wore him out.

First day of Homeschooling Adventures

I wanted to begin blogging because of many reasons, but one was my new adventure this year, homeschooling! Yes, I said it! I would have never in a million years said I would marry a preacher, plant a church, have 4 kids, and then one day homeschool. That was not in my plan. Thankfully the Lord's plans are perfect and He is the MASTER PLANNER! Im so excited and feel privaledged to be a stay at home mom that gets to teach her children.
First day of homeschooling adventures!
Quick pose with the new lunchboxes!!! Hannah and Isaac come with me to the school room and Jeremiah and Abigail go to "Renee's" we dropped the Mrs. but it sounds so cute when Abigail says it!  Abigail will come with me one day a week as well. We go to the school room on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. We stay at home on Mondays and Fridays!
Isaac is 7 and is in 1st grade, Hannah Ruth is in Kindergarden, and Jake, is a friend, he is in 4th grade! I love Jake! I tutored him last year and God is allowing me to share in his education this year! His mom and dad allow us to use the room and I work with Jake one on one during the week:) Great deal!!!
My sweet desk hand painted by Candy and Jake....Love my school room!!!
My school room is my thing Im very thankful for! I want my experience homeschooling to be great but I also want to be very organized and on track! Hopefully we can stay focused and enjoy the year! Please pray for me as I obey God in what He's called me to do. I know some days will be easier than others but this first week has been great. Looking forward to what the Lords wants to teach me this year.
